I stumbled upon a new shop this week. I say stumbled, it turned out to be a shop owned by a friend’s husband it’s just I’d never been in but when she mentioned they had an impressive stock of local Gins then that was just about all the persuasion I needed!
John Barleycorn’s hidden within Cotswold Court Broadway, aims to buy as many of their products from small family run companies, mainly local and regional ones. It’s a simple philosophy and one that’s often easily achieved, considering how many amazing small producers there are.
They support small British brewers, farmers artisan food producers, distillers, bakers and even a local photographer.
Many have won National & International awards.
It’s one of the smallest shops in the country but they have tried to cram in as much as possible and try to sell it as reasonable a prices as possible.
Just look at the array of Gins on display, and the opposite walls are meticulously stocked with perfect lines of a Craft beers, Chutneys, Biscuits, Cheese, Salami and SO much more!
They’ll even give you a 5% discount if you return their flier to them before paying!
John Barleycorn’s can be found at;
9 Cotswold Court, Broadway, WR127AA
You can also find them on their Facebook page
