This is less of a post and more of an online gallery and to say that, if you haven’t seen this year’s lavender up at Cotswold Lavender then don’t delay! It is looking tip top and won’t be around long so do head up there soon.
Cotswold Lavender is a third generation family farm set in the Heart of the beautiful Cotswold Hills overlooking Broadway and the Vale of Evesham.
Lavender was first planted there in 2000 in fields previously used to grow wheat and barley. The lavender loves the free draining limestone soils 1,000 feet above sea level giving the best growing conditions for the highest quality English Lavender Essential Oils.
They now have over 35 different varieties, some 90 miles of rows and 500,000 plants in total. The crops are steam distilled on the farm and made into their range of unique lavender products, all proudly made in Great Britain and none tested on animals.
From experience, if you go on a dark and stormy day its just as beautiful as the grey clouds provide a stunning back drop.
