The Exmouth Arms

Just a quick blog post this time, in fact more of a ‘shout out’ as frankly this short visit consisted less of review / note taking or drinking in the ambience and rating the wine and more of non-stop birth swap stories, ‘does he sleep ‘ ? questioning and projectile vomiting comparisons.

Yes, this was my first post birth NCT mums gathering!

We chose The Exmouth Arms on Bath road in Cheltenham as we’ve collectively booked to attend a local baby massage course which is to be held in a function room there in a few weeks from now.

With 5 babies all lined up in their prams and some intermittent interruption for boob attention, us Mummies chomped into sandwiches and fries (containing excellent breast feeding calories!) Excuse the rather basic sandwich picture, as I mentioned, we were somewhat preoccupied.

I wolfed down a Fish Finger Sandwich on granary and not for its lack of size could have eaten two. I regretted only that I hadn’t ordered the sweet potato fries.

I loved the decor with tulips on every table and window ledge. The place is light and airy, contemporary and cosy at the same time.

Helpful service and good baby changing facilities mixed with a lovely decor and good food mean we will be back really soon with or without the massage class!

That’s all for now !
