If you’re in need of a extra stocking filler for your little ones then do try to get hold of this delightful little story by local Chipping Campden shopkeepers Aneeta Boote & Emily Dunn.
This delightful tale tells the story of two Cotswold mice and their adventures to live in the Royal Palace with HRH Prince George and HRH Princess Charlotte.
Aneata is a gold and silversmith, and works from her studio in Cambrook Court, Chipping Campden. She creates unique jewellery and specialises in remodelling sentimental pieces. She has been making her cute little Cotswold Mice for a number of years.
Emily loves books and specialises in children’s books. Her shop A Festival of Books, is full of exciting reads, and has a magical feel to it. Emily’s shop is next to Aneata’s workshop and was named Indie Bookshop of the month for May 2015.
Aneata designed and hand forged a pair of Cotswold Mice napkin rings in silver, and sent the first set as a gift to TRH The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to celebrate the birth of their daughter, HRH Princess Charlotte.
Aneata and Emily wrote The Tale of the Cotswold Mice, with Aneata providing the illustrations of her beloved mice.
