Wimbledon Fizz…?

Well, the sun may have disappeared for a while but Wimbledon is still with us and so effectively its still high Summer, whatever the weather 🙂

I have been SO loving my tennis this year and for the first time in years I have managed to have time to watch lots of the really gripping, skilled and ‘edge of the seat’ Wimbledon matches, some of the best that SW19 provides. What a great Championship it has been so far!

I’ve seen Rafa knocked out, Serena put a stop to her Sister as well as the defending champion and then there’s Murray, well hasn’t he been on fire!!!!

Alongside this I’ve recently been enjoying a new discovery ...Bottlegreen drinks, if you haven’t tried them then I suggest you pop over to Waitrose or Sainsbury’s to try them out…NOW !!

Bottlegreen Drinks Co. has been making tasteful, natural soft drinks since 1989, simply blended with Cotswold spring water at the bottlegreen Cotswold mill, to create a wide range of perfectly balanced and refreshing soft drinks.

Bottlegreen Drinks Co. now produces 24 different varieties of naturally stylish soft drinks a year. The beautifully designed range has expanded from that one simple elderflower cordial to a flavoured tonics range.

With tennis season in full swing, bottlegreen have served up an ace with their latest fruity cocktail. The stylish drinks company have created the ultimate Game, Set & Match cocktail championing the classic tradition of the great British strawberry.

This refreshing cocktail will tantalise taste buds with an expert blend of their newly launched Cotswold Lemonade & Mint Pressé and Strawberry Cordial mixed with your favourite Fruit Cup. It is the perfect partner for watching the tennis as well as being the champion at any summer BBQs.

Game Set & Match Cocktail recipe (Serves two)

300ml bottlegreen Cotswold Lemonade & Mint Pressé

100ml Fruit Cup
150ml bottlegreen Strawberry Cordial Blended ice
Fruit to decorate

Fill a jug with blended ice and pour in

150ml of bottlegreen’s Strawberry Cordial. Add 300ml of bottlegreen’s Cotswolds Lemonade & Mint Pressé along with 100ml of Fruit Cup. Mix well and finish by topping the jug with more blended

ice. Garnish with fruit.

(With hints of both strawberry and mint, this cocktail can be enjoyed as both an alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshment 🙂

The Cotswold Lemonade & Mint Pressé is definitely my favourite. Its a delicious combination of sharp lemon juice and garden mint expertly blended with lightly sparkling Cotswold spring water and  bottlegreen’s Strawberry Cordial is a firm favourite too after 4 years of production, with its delightful blend of succulent strawberries that can be mixed with either still or sparkling water.
